And so, after 3 weeks (more or less), those amazing violet flowers became a yummy little eggplant!
And we picked it up together with some tomatoes and one tasty onion.
There something exciting in working to self-produce food from seeds and little plants. It's an habit for me, because dad used to grow a lot of vegetables and fruits in our garden, but it's a new thing for me and S. as a couple (family?).
It's not simple, sometimes. It can be an hard work (under the hot italian sun) and time consuming, too. It needs patience.
But harvest fills you with pride and yummy food to enjoy (so more savory than what you can buy in the shops!).
